Providence Supervisor Onsite Access - Patient Registration in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Supervisor On-Site Access(1.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to work in Patient Registration at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
The Access Supervisor oversees the acquisition of information and data entry functions relating to admission/registration processes; oversees scheduling, training, and education functions for the Access Department. This position oversees the day to day operations of the admitting department.

Contributes to developing and maintaining departmental customer satisfaction program in accordance with organizational guidelines which exceed guests, family, patient and physician expectations.
Contributes to developing and maintaining departmental quality management program in accordance with organizational guidelines which exceed community standards, including compliance with all laws, regulations and requirements of appropriate licensing and accrediting bodies.
Assists with the development of a departmental strategic Plan complying with organizational guidelines which identifies objectives for increasing market share and volumes.
Actively participates in developing annual departmental budgets, which will include appropriate volume and revenue projections and reflect the most cost-effective means of delivering services to achieve specified quality levels.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Three (3) years Admitting, Financial Counseling, Health Information Management or hospital related experience.
One (1) year lead or supervisory experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Associate's Degree Business Administration or related field.
