Providence Health & Services RN - Coordinator Stroke/Telestroke Program in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Stroke/Telestroke Program Coordinator (1.0, Days) to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking a skilled, patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator to be responsible for both, the Stroke and Telestroke Programs.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for implementing and growing a comprehensive Telestroke Program internally and externally.
Be responsible for multiple aspects of the Telestroke Program including outreach, operational roll out and day to day oversight of the program.
Be a liaison with hospitals that are part of the Providence telestroke network, ensuring that hospitals are satisfied with all components of the program.
Be a liaison with the telestroke vendor and will coordinate all demonstrations, onsite trainings and education.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State (In good standing)
Minimum of 5 years applicable clinical experience with minimum of 3 years in stroke
Knowledge of current treatments and guidelines for acute stroke care and the most current approaches in managing the care delivery for acute stroke patients (thrombolytics and interventional timelines)
Current and valid WA State Driver’s License
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in acute care emergency services
