Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse – Quality Assurance in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Quality Specialist (Full time, Day Shift) to Quality Assurance, Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking a Quality Specialist who is licensed as a registered nurse to perform functions that support the hospital and medical staff to continually improve patient care, reduces risk, and provide excellent customer service. This position provides support, facilitation, and coordination to support clinical and process improvements throughout the organization.
In this position you will:
Assess, evaluate and implement performance improvements for clinical and documentation processes across committees and clinical specialties
Partner with physicians, nursing staff and other patient caregivers and medical records coding staff to implement improvement plans.
Serve as a resource to clinicians and leaders regarding best practice from the literature, published guidelines and other organizations.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Utilize technology for data analysis, reporting and communication with team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
3 years Experience within a health care organization.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience with process improvement theories and methods, adult learning principles, and data analysis methods.
