Providence HR Generalist - PSJH in Olympia, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an HR Generalist to our location in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking a HR Generalist to perform a wide range of duties as assigned by the HR team. Acts as primary point of contact for caregivers and core leaders for HR and employment related matters. Serves as a trusted advisor and advocate for caregivers and core leaders. Facilitates resolution for HR related concerns. Supports HR team to provide solutions and outcomes to address caregiver and core leader needs. Supports implementation of HR programs and processes.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manages specific projects as assigned.
Provides support for inquiries of policy and/or contract interpretation.
Builds complex reports upon request and provides insight on HR analytics and metrics.
Resolves problems relating to organizational policies and procedures.
Addresses ER issues such as harassment allegations, work complaints or other caregiver concerns under guidance of HR business partner.
Facilitates and provides training and assistance to caregivers on HR related matters.
Facilitates collection of data for grievance or legal information requests.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
Two (2) years related work experience.
Demonstrable working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, word processing and desktop publishing software.
Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
Using computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, process information, or communicate with others.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One (1) year HR Global Prof Certification.
Effective conflict management skills.
