Providence is calling an Cardiovascular Technologist (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week Day SHIFT) to the Cardiovascular Lab at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.

Under the direction of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Manager, Supervisor, and/or Cardiologist assists Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
In this position you will:
Plans and arranges daily work load with supervisor and other personnel.
Facilitates communications and scheduling activities with patients, other hospital departments, and cardiologists.
Performs procedure setups and patient preparations.
Assists Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, electrophysiology studies, pacemaker and ICD implants.
Administers medications under Licensed Independent Practitioner’s (LIP) supervision in accordance with Washington State law and regulation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training Two years of community college/vocational training in a certified Cardiovascular Technologist training program and/or Radiological Technologist (RT).
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Radiology Technologist Certification.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHABLS) at hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training Interventional Radiology training.
Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience.
