Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse - Infusion in Lacey, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (Home Infusion, Day Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services supporting S. King County, Pierce and Thurston areas.

An ideal candidate will be able to work up to 2 days/week and have the flexibility to work 3-5 days during the training/orientation period.
In this position you will:
Provide direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, clinic or an alternate living site. This is accomplished through collaboration with the patient and/or caregiver, the physician, other health care providers and the payer.
Function as a professional role model by demonstrating competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other health care workers to promote quality patient care, and acting as a resource for home care nursing staff for patients with infusion home care needs.
Admit and educates patients/caregivers in all infusion therapies.
Practices nursing by following Providence Infusion’s policies and procedures and the Washington State Nurse Practice Act.
Participates in the development of an efficient and cost-effective nursing department.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Washington State driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
One year home infusion experience and/or ICU experience
Recent hands-on experience with peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines, ports, venipuncture, and various central venous access devices (CVAD)
Strong patient advocate/communication skills
Experienced with Microsoft Office programs
