Providence is calling an Office Assistant III – CDC to the Providence Chemical Dependency Center in Lacey, WA.
Please note this is a part time position (0.5 FTE, Variable Shifts).
We are seeking an Office Assistant III – CDC to perform a variety of clerical duties in support of office or department operations.
In this position you will:
Perform a variety of complex clerical tasks requiring independence, sound judgment, and initiative in determining appropriate action taken.
Perform excellent customer service to those in sensitive and difficult situations.
Screen callers using discretion and independent judgment; refer calls or provide information as appropriate.
Support requests for statistical reporting and other complex data gathering activities.
Respond appropriately according to age related needs and considerations of this population.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or the equivalent.
Two years of customer experience preferably in a healthcare setting, working directly with patients.
Keyboarding skills and proficiency in reading and writing English.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Experience scheduling for multiple providers in an outpatient clinic or other setting.
Experience using EPIC software.
