Providence RN Clinical Coordinator Sepsis - Compliance in Chehalis, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator Sepsis (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to the Compliance Department at Providence Centralia Hospital and Providence St. Peter in Olympia, WA .
The Sepsis Registered Nurse (RN) will use the nursing process to assist in implementing and evaluating evidence-based care for septic patients in all hospital areas. The Sepsis Nurse will be an expert clinician who will maintain up-to-date knowledge of current best practices in sepsis care and will advocate for efficient and effective sepsis treatment.
In this position you will:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate sepsis care to optimize outcomes
Effectively advocate for use of current evidence-based sepsis care guidelines to promote effective treatment regimens
Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team
Align practice with safety and quality; be accountable for safety, identify and correct problems
Engage in ongoing professional development; promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates and disseminates research and evidence-based practice
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Active RN Washington State License
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
Three (3) years in Critical Care or Emergency Registered Nurse (RN) experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) or CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
Five (5) years in Critical Care or Emergency Registered Nurse (RN) experience
