Providence Health & Services Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Centralia, Washington

Description:

Providence is calling a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide patient care services using Nuclear Medicine imaging.

In this position you will:

  • Operate radioscopic equipment to produce scanograms to assist in the diagnosis of pathophysiology

  • Obtain patient clinical history and perform physical assessments of patient conditions to determine appropriate testing protocol

  • Provide technical interpretation of radioscopic and physiologic data

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology qualifying for ARRT/NMTCB certification

  • 6 months of experience in nurclear medicine

  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT) or certification with the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board(NMTCB)

  • WA State License as a Registered Radiological Technologist

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Certification

  • WA State Food Handler’s certification within the first 90 days of hire
